Is my good friend angry/upset that I am leaving?

*Sigh* sweetie what a hard position you are in right now. She is most likely really upset that you are leaving. People often turn to anger when they are sad about something. Maybe she feels like she will lose you as a friend but it sounds like it could be a lot deeper than that. Maybe she has feelings for you too. Unfortunatly you are going to have to find a way to talk to her before you go, it's hard to deal with a problem like that long distance. I've been there. I had feelings for my best friend and the two years we were friends he often talked about someday moving 10 hours away. Then suddenly something happened with his job and family and he decided to go. That's when I realized I had feelings for him... It took me a year of staying friends with him, seeing each other only twice and mostly just talking on the phone, before I finally made a move and told him how I felt. It worked out in the end and we spent another year apart before we both moved and found a place in between. THe key is having that conversation... find a way to talk to her before you go or you might regret it when you move. Kudos to you for doing something for yourself! GOOD LUCK!
