Is asking for supportive words as i know he only wants me as a fk buddy and not his girlfriend anymore?

met last september, had major issues between us.. we became friendly, have amazing sex but when i just asked him if he want me as a girlfriend again he made excuses and wont say yes or no!! i know its a no but i want his to say it, he always squirms out of everything. ugggg hate him but love him ..some one help me with words of wisdom here plz x
